Checking Firmware Versions

Power Switch

The process of checking the firmware versions is a simple 1 or 2 step process.

  1. If the printer is on, turn it off.
  2. If the printer is off, power it on while observing the printers display.

The boot screen will display a logo and two numbers that are separated by a period or full stop.

These numbers represent the Motion Controller and UI Controller(LCD) firmware versions. See the images below for more information.

Web Browser

While the printer is connected to WiFi you may use a web browsers address/URL bar to send a command that will display the firmware version numbers on the printers LCD. Using the on-board controls will clear the version numbers from the display. In rare cases you may have to turn the printer off and on to clear the display.
